Drilling rig KR 806-3GS

Drilling rig KR 806-3GS

The go-to machine for special foundation work when it comes to anchor drilling with overburden drilling methods and with a double head system. Optimised for less accessible and low-down drilling spots, with efficient, smart and powerful drive train technology.

The industrial standard for anchor drilling.

Recommended
The drilling rig type KR 806-3GS is currently the most advanced version from the KR 806 range. Originally designed as an anchor drilling rig for double-head drilling systems, “the 806” is now widely used and highly rated. Today, the “806” range is synonymous with the most modern and high-performance anchor drilling rig on the market.

The drive train
The basis of the drive train is a 175 kW diesel engine with particle filter for emission stages EU Stage V or USA EPA Tier 4 final. A version for emissions stage IV (EU) with 160 kW is still available. A special version for emissions stage 3A (EU) is also available on request. As compared with the previous model, the kinematic assemblies, among other things, have undergone radical new development.

The hydraulic system
The hydraulic system comprises a dual-circuit load-sensing system with the reliable technologies, Load Limit Control and Power Sharing (patented). The hydraulic valve banks are integrated directly into the CAN bus and have extremely sensitive reactions. They are self-regulating so work independently of the temperature and highly accurately. The EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficient Power) includes a power and energy management system which adjusts the engine speed automatically and dynamically to the load and operating state. Fuel consumption and sound emissions are greatly reduced.

Machine kinematics
Rigidity and long-term fatigue strength have been increased significantly and mechanical stress in the joints decreased significantly. The machine kinematics are designed primarily for shallow inclindes bores with deep starting points, and pile drilling with drilling locationslocations sideways to the crawler tracks can now also be carried out.

The ability to control all functions by radio remote control is standard.
The functional safety of the machine controls complies with Performance Level C (ISO 13849), making its design extremely resistant to faults and fail-safe. The ROM and SPM modes are available in the machine in accordance with EN 16228. The machine is pre-fitted for installation of a KLEMM Bohrtechnik interlocking guard.

Maintenance and diagnostics
The display and diagnostics options have been hugely expanded, e.g. there are displays at the operating station for flow regulation of the individual flushing paths. All pump circuits are provided with easily accessible mini measuring ports.
