The BE 500 is a plant comprising two individual BE 250-60 plants and an upstream coarse filter as volume distributor. By using structurally identical units, reliability of operation is considerably enhanced. If one partial unit malfunctions, the entire plant can continue operation at reduced capacity. For many years now, the BE 500 has been the standard plant for a range of applications including diaphragm wall cutting and tunnel construction.
