The coarse screen unit GS 425-V is primarily used as a pre-separator in combined large-sized rigs for tunnel construction and cutting projects. For preliminary cleaning, the entire incoming volumetric flow is fed through an adjustable coarse filter. The incline of the coarse filter is adjustable in five stages from 0° to 25°. This enables optimal adjustment of the filter incline to the prevailing soil conditions on site.

Installed flaps in the base frame structure of the Vario sieve allow for optimal distribution of the entire volumetric flow for use with two downstream desanding plants, e.g. BE 300 or BE 425. The plant can also be used as a single unit for coarse separation.
